Description

The Pavement Technology Project (PTP) in Thailand was a three-year research project undertaken jointly by the Department of Highways and the Danish Road Directorate that commenced in 1999. The project had the overall objective of reducing the maintenance costs on the national road network by implementing Falling Weight Deflectometer Technology and developing and implementing analytical pavement analysis and design methods, based on pavement performance and by determining the structural properties of the road pavement materials tested in existing road pavements and in laboratory investigations.The Pavement Technology Project (PTP) in Thailand was a three-year research project undertaken jointly by the Department of Highways and the Danish Road Directorate that commenced in 1999.
