This is a report on the second study undertaken by IT Transport with financial support from the Department for International Development (DFID). It was designed to test the applicability of conventional Stated Preference and Revealed Preference models for valuing the time savings of rural travellers in least developed countries (LDCs) and to develop and demonstrate a robust methodology for estimating values of travel time savings which could be used in developing countries.This is a report on the second study undertaken by IT Transport with financial support from the Department for International Development (DFID).
